The Keema wrap is a great way to make a delicious and different finger-type-food using Beef Keema available from Basu’s HomeStyle. Here are the following ingredients you will need. The following ingredients will make three keema wraps.
· 3 frozen paratha (take out of the freezer just before you are ready to make the wraps).
· 1/3 cup of diced cucumber and red onion (equal parts).
· 2/3 cup of Basu’s HomeStyle Beef Keema.
· Non-stick skillet or fry pan.
1. Warm the keema in a microwave (1 minute or so) until it’s at a temperature of your liking.
2. Combine warm keema with red onion and cucumber. Mix together in a bowl until an even consistency is achieved.
3. Pre heat the pan for a minute or two.
4. Take paratha out of the wrapper and place on the pan/ grill. After you’ve placed paratha(s) on the griddle, turn heat down to medium. Be careful not to turn the skillet up too high, other wise paratha will burn.
5. When paratha starts to turn translucent and starts a bubble, flip over.
6. Repeat flipping until paratha is a golden brown on both sides.
7. Take Keema mixture and spoon a generous portion into the golden brown paratha. Fold over like a quesadilla. Slice in half and serve.
This wrap goes great with Basu’s HomeStyle Raita (yogurt salad) and Spicy Pineapple Chutney. In case you do not have access to Raita, sour cream is a close approximation.
